I’m super excited about this series! The covers were designed by the awesome Natasha Snow for a collaborative project between Jayden Brooks, Nico Jaye, Cate Ashwood, J.H. Knight, and myself. We joined together to create the town of Heartsville, where all of our characters work, live, and love.
We’ll be releasing one story each day during the last week of October. Bookmarked kicks everything off on Monday, October 26th, but if you want to buy it now, I’ll list the pre-order links below. All of the titles are on sale for $0.99 (USD) from now until one week after their respective release dates, after which point they will go to their normal price of $2.99. They can all be read as standalones and in any order, but for the best reading experience, we recommend reading them all, as the characters make cameo appearances in the other books. 😀
To save his bookstore from closing, Mark Werner realizes it’s going to take a miracle—like getting reclusive, best-selling author Shepherd Knight to agree to appear for a signing.
After their disastrous last encounter, Mark doesn’t hold up much hope Shepherd will agree. Shepherd’s never made a single public appearance. In fact, Mark wouldn’t even know what he looks like had he not accidentally discovered the sexy stranger he’d been flirting with for months, aka “Tall-Dark-and-Grumpy,” was also his fanboy obsession.
But desperate times call for desperate measures. If Mark can convince Shepherd, it’ll be a major coup in the book world and might just save Bookmarked from sinking. Too bad Shepherd won’t reply to his e-mails. Yet Mark didn’t earn the reputation of having a “sunshine-and-rainbow-fart” personality for nothing. He’ll do whatever it takes to get his man… and hopefully not make a fool of himself in the process.
Welcome to the gayborhood! In the cozy town of Heartsville, the streets are lined with trees, the shops are full of friendly faces, and happily ever after is just around the corner. Come get to know the boys next door—naughty, nice, and everything in between.

Hey, folks! I’ve had people asking, so for those wondering, Hook, Line, & Sinker is now available for pre-order on Amazon. It’s been hard to find because Amazon categorized it as erotica, which is incorrect. While it does contain erotic content, it’s not outright erotica, so DSP is working to get that categorization changed. In the meantime, you can order it at the link above and it’ll show up on your Kindle at midnight when it goes live on November 19th! 😀
If you missed it before, here is a peek at the cover and blurb.
When they were teens, Castor McCormick was the bane of Blake Kowalski’s existence. Their mutual animosity led to summers filled with rivalry. Now, nearly two decades later, Cas is moving back into the neighborhood to live in his grandmother’s old house. Blake tells himself he isn’t interested in seeing how snarky little Cas grew up, but when his mother dupes him into visiting his former nemesis, he finds out “pretty” can evolve into “sexy as hell” on the right man.
Cas didn’t think he wanted to see Blake again. No one has ever pushed his buttons like the arrogant boy he remembers from their youth. Turns out, the adult version of Blake still gets him hot under the collar—and everywhere else. With Blake on leave from work to nurse an injured leg and Cas taking time to move and unpack, they form a tentative friendship that turns into a sexual affair neither man can deny. But when Cas’s job sends him out of state to deal with a difficult client, their new relationship will be tested, and if they fail, Blake’s broken leg might not be the only thing to end up scarred.
Also available for pre-order directly from Dreamspinner.
The files have been corrected on ARe and the Dreamspinner site. If you downloaded before right now (8PM CDT), you’ll have to download the file(s) again for the updated version. Amazon will be coming very soon! We’d caught the 2nd error after the first one had been corrected, so now we have to wait to re-upload the corrected version until that first one finishes processing. That will hopefully be fixed by tomorrow.
Sorry again for the inconvenience!
Hey, all! If you purchased and downloaded Wood, Screws, & Nails already, there are a couple of errors in the file. Parts have been cut off from the ends of at least chapter 1 & 2. The ARC I saw last week was totally fine, so it seems like something went wrong when the original file was converted into the ebooks.
At the end of chapter 1, a couple of sentences are cut off. It should read:
“You’re welcome,” he said to the empty room, shaking his head. It was going to be an interesting summer. his head. It was going to be an interesting summer.
At the very end of chapter 2, two words are missing. The last paragraph in that chapter should read:
Malachi knew right then it was going to be a summer of nothing but blue balls and cold showers. The thought alone should have made him groan. So why couldn’t he seem to stop smiling?
My apologies for those errors. At this point, I don’t know if there are others. I’ll review the ebook when I can. But I’ve let Dreamspinner know and the files are being worked on! People who purchased from Amazon, those files should update automatically on your Kindle. If you bought the file from ARe or Dreamspinner directly, though, I’m afraid you’ll have to re-download the corrected file once they’re posted. Once that happens, I’ll update again.
So sorry, you guys! I know this disrupts the whole reading process!
Out now! 😀

Lucky Moon: Book One
Eleven years ago, Shane Ventura made the biggest mistake of his life when he caved in to pressure from his record label to kick his best friend, Jesse Seider, out of their band, Luck. To this day, Shane has never wanted anyone more, and all the sex and alcohol in the world can’t fill the void Jesse left behind. Not even the prospect of teaming up with Britain’s hottest band, Moonlight, for a massive world tour can get him out of his funk. Then he meets lead singer Kayden Berlin and falls into instant lust.
Kayden may act like he’s not interested, but Shane knows he feels the spark between them. Yet the harder Shane pushes, the more Kayden pulls away, until one explosive night leaves Shane with a broken heart. That seems to be his lot—lucky at everything but love. Shane still has one lesson left to learn, though: when it comes to love, you can’t always leave things to chance.
Rock stars, angst, sexual tension, smutty fun times. We’ve got you covered. 😉
If you haven’t read this, but you’ve read MJ’s Catch My Breath, the Ventura Brothers were mentioned in that book. First, we have Shane. Later in the year, we’ll have Nick in The Luckiest, who is admittedly a favorite character of both mine and MJ’s.
Come have fun with our boys. ♥ And check out my Moonlight Becomes You playlist, if you’re curious about what music inspired me while writing. 🙂
By the way, I’ve been asked several times about the differences between this book and the original. We added about 16K total to the word count. Some of that includes a few of the vignettes we’d released as separate freebies when the Lucky Moon books started coming out (some of which have been altered somewhat), and some of it includes a few new scenes. There isn’t a ton of new stuff in the book (unless you never read our vignette collections, which are still freely available, in which case the entire 16K will be new to you), but if you’d like to own a copy of the re-edited, fleshed out version, I definitely recommend you picking it up! I think the book is stronger now. But, really, at its heart, it’s still the same story. So definitely don’t feel obliged to re-purchase if you already read the original book. And if you haven’t, well, I hope you enjoy our Lucky Moon boys. We had a lot of fun writing them! And, of course, for those of you who had inquired about a Moonlight Becomes You paperback, it’s finally here! I just got my official author copies today, which made me very happy. 😀
And for all the fans of the series who don’t plan to re-buy the 2nd edition, here is the dedication so you can see it. ❤
